We have some of those days when we can’t even think of getting out of our comfortable cocoon made up of yoga tights, a puffer jacket and a pom-pom hat. But we also have other days, however. Then, we want to look like we have just left the studio of our personal dressmaker. Even when we don’t actually have one! We take out the blazers and we make way for those perfectly tailored trousers. And then we start dealing with the rest of the details. Those ones that make us look like a Kinder Surprise Egg from head to toe.
We really like it how the smart casual style and business looks came down from corporate floors to land on the street and make it a bit more special and almost like a film set. We adore wearing our Levi’s jeans and our shabby sweatshirts equipped with a backpack and a pair of sneakers. But sometimes we simply need to shine bright. To wake up and go for the blazer, pearls and tender cat heels from the very morning.
We dive into pleated trousers, knitwear and maxi blazers as though in an alternative reality. We pull back the hair in a nonchalant tail, we put on some eye-catching earrings and we can’t even think of forgetting about the lipstick. All this is simply begging for our favourite music in our earphones that will help us make the day truly memorable. From then on, it’s time for victories. For style and for good taste. For a more beautiful urban picture, that we become a part of.
All the gorgeous street style examples reminded us of how successfully we could mix up styles if we put on a bet bag over our blazer and tie a silk scarf on it. Vintage sunglasses that look back to the 80s and the 90s are also very welcome in order to break up with the more formal silhouette. The more standard our combination of a blazer and trousers is, the more extreme and daring we can be when choosing the shape and colour of our bag.
The rest is just a little bit of rouge and a lot of character.
