If there is something that our feet feel truly comfortable in, this is the boot. Apart from being exceptionally comfortable, boots are the perfect match to trousers, jeans as well as the little black dress and the velvet skirt. Elegant or rebellious – boots have never remained unnoticed! Regardless of the fact whether you are going to choose a rock-style design or the standard Chelsea – they are a sincere declaration of love to the autumn anywhere at any given time – at the workplace, the music festival or the festive occasion.
You are going to recognise them by the design
Boots have as many various designs as there are types of people. That’s why, while choosing them, think carefully about which pair would fit best your personal style. Here are some of the most common ones…
Chelsea – In the past this boot design with two side pieces of elastic (in order to put them on and off more easily) used to be considered a perfectly male style. Today, on the other hand, ladies are more and more frequently opting for this type of comfort while looking for shoes that would be suitable for their everyday life.
Block heel boots – They introduce elegance and French chic to your slim jeans or your everyday dress.
Flat boots – Thanks to their classic and elegant look, they are often selected as shoes that are suitable for business events. In the past they were used for horse riding. And so that they wouldn’t look too male and strict, you could combine them with jeans or a suit with a printed pattern.
Ankle boots – This design is offered with different heights of the heel and different shapes. Most everyday designs have a rounded toe cap and an average high heel. The more luxurious ones are usually sharper at the front part and have a 12-centimetre heel, which makes them appropriate for the red carpet.
The trends this season
The current boot designs for fall/winter 2017/18 are made of genuine leather, suede and patent leather, or they have a snake or alligator pattern. The colours are metallic, bright or classis and neutral. The highlights on the different designs are buckles, fringes, studs and shiny sequins.
