One of our most beloved Italian brands has once again immersed us in a true fairy-tale. A picture that shows the whole universe of the future. Elisabetta Franchi sends us to the endlessness of stars, but fills our journey with splendid images from the past to further inspire us. Jackie Kennedy, the iconic First Lady of the United States is a great inspiration for the fall/winter 2019 collection. The 60s are also involved. As well as the legacy of names such as Pierre Cardin and Coco Chanel and their great contribution to the world of fashion.
Mixing tweed and latex might seem like a surprise to some, but Elisabetta Franchi manages to transform such a paradox into something spectacularly beautiful. Contemporary first ladies are far from afraid of crystals, mini dresses and print layering. Pink is their trade mark and it perfectly reflects their view on life in general. The metallic shimmer of sequins is their best friend. They wear their trains whenever they feel like it. And they know how to shine, from the huge buttons on their jackets, to their 24-carat smile.
Elisabetta Franchi has always made us dream. Dream about a wardrobe that would suit any adventure that we have been destined to embark on. And then would add a pinch of uniqueness in our day. Clothes that finish the story. And they bring about so much femininity and a particular type of sophistication.
We are in love with the line of accessories that was shown on the catwalk during Milan Fashion Week. Killer knee boots in white and metallic shine that we long to have far, far earlier than this autumn.
Yet another magical season for the brand.
