MAX MARA WON OUR PLAUDITS

x

Max Mara told us a white fairy-tale and filled our eyes with so much beauty that we could have hardly ever imagined before this Resort 2019 catwalk. The brand is a definition and legislation of Italian elegance, which is difficult to describe in words, but very easy to recognise. We are talking about high craftsmanship and all superlative expressions have their proper place here. You see the designs and immediately you envisage in your mind the situation where and how you want to wear them. And you lift your princess spirit. Because each and every one of us could at least be a princess of good style.

But let’s go back to the catwalk. The fashion house opens doors in 1951. And for the first time in nearly 70 years they invited us to their show not anywhere else, but in Reggio Emilia, where the history of Max Mara begins. The catwalk itself was held in the first factory of the Italian icon.

The designs immersed us in a sea of luxurious materials. The cuts were simply perfect – magnificent silhouettes, proportions and production.

The beauty looks of the models were close to absolutely natural – barely touched by any makeup brush. Their hair was slicked back to the nape and then flowing down naturally in nonchalant waves.

The accessories that were shown on the catwalk definitely have a place in our lives and wardrobes. We loved the surrealistically refined pieces of jewellery made of feathers, the micro glasses and the huge bags that the beauties were carrying in their hands. Over 100 guests arrived from far and wide in order to experience the magic of Max Mara. Amongst many others were fashion bible editors, influencers and top clients of the brand.

We want to see many more collections by Max Mara like this one. Excellent creations!
