Hardly would we ever get tired of presenting good fashion. Especially when it is Italian. Fashion Inside had the pleasure of attending one really different and inspirational show during Milan Fashion Week.
The brand Genny was born in Ancona, Italy. The founder of the brand is Adnaldo Girombelli who started the family business with a small workshop. In 1962 Genny was born, named after Arnaldo’s eldest daughter.
Today the brand can boast a new boutique in Milan and its past is no less brilliant than everything that is about to come for Genny. In 1973 Gianni Versace himself becomes a designer for Genny and a little later Christian Lacroix joins the crew. After the death of Arnaldo, his wife Donatella headed the company until the moment when Prada takes over the brand in 2001. A short pause follows and then Genny returns to the market in order to celebrate femininity, Italian business, quality and attention to detail.
The new collection of the brand impressed us with bright colours, pure silhouettes, extravagant solutions and loads of elegance. We are fascinated by the different and eccentric combinations and decisions that we are so impatient to try on. The outfits by Genny are everything that our wardrobe needs. They somehow manage to breathe in a sense of style, femininity and a lot of Italian taste which is the ever-lasting proof of good fashion.
We have chosen the best shots from Genny’s new collection. We are sure that they are going to inspire us!
