Sometimes all we need is a quick, fresh and tasty snack to fill us with energy. If you are wondering what to surprise your loved one with, make this delicious fresh pasta with tuna and asparagus, and you will be proclaimed a culinary virtuoso!

Ingredients (Serves 2)

1 can tuna fillet in olive oil
500 gr fresh asparagus
2 stalks spring onions
Salt, freshly ground black pepper
300 gr fresh pasta (tagliatelle or tagliolini)


Strain the tuna well and break it into large chunks. Reserve the oil.

Clean the asparagus, cut and remove the lower parts, cut and reserve the tips, and then the rest cut to smaller pieces.

Clean the spring onions, rinse it and chop it finely. Add 2 tablespoons of the tuna oil to the onions.

Combine the onions, the asparagus, 120 ml water, and some salt, and simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes, then blend.

Simmer the pasta with the asparagus tips for about 3 minutes, then strain and carefully mix with the asparagus puree. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Divide the pasta between two plates, add the tuna chunks and serve.
