Etro show for yet another time that they have completely mastered patterns. During Milan Fashion Week we enjoyed sculptural dresses, huge graphics that seem to be floating on the clothes and a variety of materials. After all, it is true that classy patterns and designs are part of the brand’s DNA. They sometimes go to extremes, but they never cross the thin line of the beautiful. We notice influence from Art Deco, hand embroidery, the Wild West (whose presence was felt back last spring), and perhaps the spirit of Peru or Patagonia… We are rather fascinated by the signature Boho Chic that reminds us of ripe golden autumn.
The models were wearing their hair down, covered in heaps of fringes, having mastered layering to perfection. The outfits shown seemed fresh, beautiful and suitable for a day out. The feeling that the collection evokes is one of warmth, cosiness and comfort. And in today’s fast-paced world, which is often focused on counterculture and dystopia, we need to see something that simply makes us feel better. The long and colourful dresses take us to places that we have been dreaming of, while the bright colours and the combination of different materials could only give us courage about our own wardrobe. We already have our favourite styles and we have chosen the most detailed images to take you to the world of infinite colours, chunky knits and super patterns!
