The time has come for one of the best moments in the fashion world – Men’s Fashion Week. After the London inspirations, we move to Florence. To the glamorous Pitti Uomo, which gathers together fashion editors, buyers, stylists and bloggers from all over the world, menswear brands show their best creations in a four-day marathon. The elect who attend the event have the opportunity to see first the most exclusive and niche fashion houses and studios.
Japanese brands, small Italian ateliers, the best from Burnello Cucinelli, endless workshops, micro shows and incredible installations. One thing is for sure – what the guests in the front rows are wearing, everyone else will be wearing. They create trends on the go and play with them as if with their favourite kids’ toy. We adore the details on their outfits, the different outlook, the attention and care to the fabrics, the patters and the materials. We wouldn’t refuse a suggestion for a walk across the bridges of Florence, and the coats that we would borrow for our own shoulders are not merely a few. We like the mixture of dark green, grey, blue and beige, we adore their sunglasses, their watches, as well as the nonchalance with which they manage to look this way. And yes, we are secretly falling in love.
We have chosen the most stunning outfits, offered to us by the first day of Pitti Uomo. They represent what fashion should actually be – intertwining classics and trends in one’s own manner with a finishing personal touch. We move to Italian men and we don’t feel like leaving at all.
