Curvy locks, colourful sprays and low ponytails. These are some of the main trends for the next spring and summer that were set during the Milan Fashion Week.
Colourful hair has become one of the main trends on the catwalk in Milan. Fendi and Byblos showed punk hairstyles with bright turquoise fringes. Everything from the usual hair dye to colourful sprays and even artificial locks that adds colour to your hair could be used.
The rise of plaits is going on in any shape or style. For 2018 they could be both minimalistic and complicated. On Piccione.Piccione’s catwalk the models wore plaits with hidden ends, with Fendi there were African plaits, while the easiest and most applicable option in everyday life was presented by Jil Sander’s stylists, who used thin plaits from the forehead to the end of the hair.
Wet look hair
One of the most popular trends that were set for the next spring and summer is wet look hair. And in case it is sleeked back, this is a true classic according to the stylists in Milan.
Not much time was needed for them to climb back to the top. Every other year, or two, this trend returns with all its might as this is happening right now, too. Is it because this hairstyle is practical and universal? Perhaps. In 2018 low ponytails could be either natural or slightly styled.
